This incense holder works exactly as it’s supposed and looks just like the picture. It is very easy to use and holds two types of incense – backflow cones and incense sticks. The sticks must be short or the ash most likely won’t fall safely into the tray. The cones go onto a small shelf that is on the back of the holder. It gets balanced there, so you must be sure that this is put in a safe location that cannot easily be bumped or you risk burns, furniture damage, or even a fire. Once you light the cone the smoke flows down through a hole and then pours down the front side as shown in the pictures.
My only issue with this product is the included incense. It’s very stale and I really don’t like the smell. If you are getting this for someone as a gift, be sure to pickup/send them additional incense cones and sticks to use and recommend that they don’t use these. I didn’t remove a star for this because the holder is exactly what it promised to be and I hadn’t exactly expected the intense smell to be anything short of generic anyway.
Overall I really like this product. I think it’s lovely and looks really awesome when used with backflow cones. I highly recommend keeping it in a safe place where it can’t be bumped for safety as well as getting new incense for it and not using what is included in the box.

My husband and I are really enjoying this holder. I’ve been trying out different incense with it, and some leave a lot of residue behind. The cones it comes with seem pretty clean. I’ve just ordered some Satya and I’m hoping it’s more clean-burning than the one’s I’ve bought at that blue and yellow store. Overall I enjoy relaxing to the scents and watching the smoke fall and dance around.
