I got this on an impulse and as far as the waterfall, if you follow the directions to put it where there is nothing disrupting the air, you get this beautiful stream of smoke following a path down to the base. I also noticed that when I put it about a foot and a half away from me to the side so I wasn’t breathing on it, the center of the cone creates this vortex going straight up as well, very faint, but really pretty.
I will repeat the warning that they include already, no air flow can be anywhere around this because the tiniest breeze just causes it to blow off course. But if you want something that as a novelty is just really gorgeous, I’m glad I had a chance to try this.
The problem comes with the cones, the material that they form the incense around, is some kind of charcoal infused with some nasty scent to it. I tried to take regular cones and poke a hole in the base to duplicate, but I really don’t feel like getting out of mini drill just to burn incense.

Much smaller than expected, came with 19 not 20 cones and they burn VERY VERY fast and don’t smell that good… the fountain is so small there can’t be any air flow/breeze at all or the waterfall effect doesn’t work.. not a good gift, not a good value for money and wouldn’t buy again

I really wanted a back flow incense holder. I will not use it. You have to constantly be watching is. The cones are not stable and the slightest bump a burning cone will fall off and possibly start a fire if not watching it.

This actually works! I wasn’t sure how it cascaded down but it does! It’s keeping the bugs away and smoking me out! lol! It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be based on other pictures so I did a video and size comparison with my glasses and my tumbler. I’ll definitely keep it and look for a bigger one also.

Ok, as with many other reviewers – the smell is not so great. It’s generic but REALLY STRONG… way way too strong for my taste… however, the incense holder is AMAZING and I had absolutely no trouble getting it working! Other reviewers mentioned to be careful about moving air, etc. – that makes sense but I used it just sitting in a large room and it worked fine with the door to the room open and me moving around and the heater on. The incense only lasts about 10 minutes – not sure if it’s possible to buy these reverse flow cones and have them last longer – but either way, especially given the price – this was a great purchase!

This incense holder is very cute. It’s really small I thought it would be bigger. It’s like the size of an AirPods box (not the case, the box it comes in when purchased). But it works just fine. My first time ever owning something like this so I was a bit taken back with the scent. I thought they would have different scents but it just smelt like smoke, so I guess that’s fair. Overall I like it. I’m going to do more research on this. 🙂
