The ceramic pieces are not coated, so they are extremely hard to clean. The plastic tube is also prone to yellowing. The ceramic soaks up and becomes coated in the residual oils/resin from the incense, causing it to smell unpleasant. There is also no air gapping, causing the smoke to leak out where it shouldn’t and bring with it more of the residue to the surrounding area. There is a reason why it’s inexpensive, so buyer beware. After a couple of uses, you basically have to throw it out.

The post-burn smell is awful and impossible to get rid of. The idea of this is awesome, however the actual item doesn’t have any sort of seal. So most of the smoke escapes, and you don’t end up with the pretty sand effect the pictures show. Overall pretty disappointed.

Replacement works great. Still could use some type of cushion between glass and base but it hasn’t broken yet. Buy better incense than what comes with it though.

Its cute to look at only. The plastic center piece is not flush so top piece leans to the side and the smoke escapes the piece which also makes shelf sticky. A waste of money. DO NOT BUY

The media could not be loaded.
The item worked great. Was nice and stable base. Easy to use and burned at a nice slow rate. The scents i used smells nice and definitely gave a calming smell. My only complaint and it’s a decent one, is the small pad that sits underneath is not large enough. The smoke falls out from below (as intended) but the smoke leaves a ring on whatever surface you have it on (my shelf🤨) Easy fix as just use a placemat, bowl (like me for now) or a nice tray underneath it but hopefully I can save someone a paint job like I’ll have to do.
